Even though pain may be felt in the arm or leg, it often originates in the spine. All of the nerves that travel to your arms and legs originate below the skull. When you irritate a nerve in your neck or low back, it often sends a signal down your arm or leg. It continues to cause pain in the arms or legs until the irritation is removed from the nerve. This allows the nerve to heal and the pain to disappear. Once we determine the problem, through an examination we can then effectively treat the cause of the pain. So by adjusting the spine, we are able to gain a resolution in most arm and leg pain cases.
